Ruth Zych
Founder and Director
I founded the agency in October of 2010 and have loved setting a very high standard of service for our clients in addition to looking for more ways to serve. I enjoy being able to meet the needs of our clients and help them feel safe and secure in uncertain times. I have one very energetic son who will forever keep me young. I look forward to continuing to support you and your loved ones with more services, making your lives safer, supported, and enjoyable. Laurie Thompson
Lead Financial Case Manager
I have worked with Ruth Zych at Golden Care Services since January of 2011. While Ruth grew the company, I was taking care of the detail work, which I love. Since then, I have settled into the position of Lead Financial Case Manager. I do budgets making sure there is enough for unexpected needs, paying bills and setting up the accounts for all our clients. I love the detail in my work, but you are unlikely to have much contact with me as I am behind the scenes in the office. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading. I love to read. As we add more services, my job will continue to be the details.
Dawn Helms
Financial Support Worker
I have worked for Golden Care Services since January of 2018. I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I am helping people and making a difference in their lives. My tasks include making sure the residential ledgers balance for the year, gathering each client’t information needed for the tax preparer, applying for certian assistance programs, and other miscellaneous behind the scenes duties.
I have been married since 1991 and have had the privilege of raising four boys.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and tending to our little hobby farm.
I look forward to working with the team at Golden Care Services in the years to come. It is rewarding to know that I have brightened someones day and helped them in some way.
Julie Archiquette
Guardian Representative/Case Manager
I have worked for Golden Care Services Inc. as a Care Manager and Intake Coordinator since July of 2015. I was previously employed at a non-profit agency in Brown County that provided direct care to individuals in a variety of settings while obtaining my master’s degree in Social Work.
My husband and I have two young children. My family and I enjoy camping in the summer, bike rides on local trails, and fish fry on Friday nights.
I enjoy watching our clients thrive in their safe and supportive environments and I value the importance of human relationships. With a person-centered approach, I am confident our diverse team can support your loved one in maintaining their independence and meeting their needs in a compassionate and supportive manner.
Jessica McGrath
Guardian Representative/Case Manager
I have worked for Golden Care Services since April 2023. I was previously employed with Winnebago County and a non-profit that served local communities with governement assistance programs and other supports. Now that I am here with GCS, my main responsibilities include organizing; client pensions, insurance, social security, and state or federal benefit programs. I enjoy assisting our clients achieve short and long term goals while working with our team. I am eager to continue to work within the community and offer ongoing resources.
I enjoy all things crafty and reading. If I am not starting a new project you will find me camping.
I look forward to working with our clients and their families to be sure their needs are met and they receive the support they deserve during lifes transitions.
Kelly Becker
Office Manager
I began working at GCS in October 2023. I previously worked as a caregiver in a variety of settings. I also worked as an office manager for an assisted living facility. I enjoy my employment with GCS because of the supportive environment. The team truly has their clients’ best interests at heart.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family; hiking, camping, fishing, gardening, crafting, or just enjoying an afternoon in the backyard with our dogs.
